 Congratulations to the 13 students from Linton Village School who all successfully passed their Open Water Courses with Oonas Dive Club last week. The week long expedition to Sharm El Sheikh included a mixture of classroom presentations, diving from the beach and the boat, culminating with an Egyptian Buffet on Oonas Roof Bar to celebrate this excellent achievement. We hope to see you again next year!

 Many of you will remember our customer survey last year when we asked you what you would like to see introduced at Oonas Dive Club. Amongst your top three requests was FREE NITROX and so we are now very pleased to announce that this will be introduced from 1st July 2010. Anyone pre-booking diving with us will be able to order their free 12 litre, 32% Nitrox tanks at the same time.

70's Revival for Project Aware |

 Oonas Dive Club was proud to be part of a group of Sharm Centres which contributed towards a fabulous '70s Beach Party aimed at raising funds for Project Aware. Oonas guests and staff joined 350 other party goers, wearing a wide array of 'interesting' outfits and strutting their funky stuff to golden oldies. A total of 7200 Egyptian pounds as raised and presented to PADI's Terry Johnson (see photo).

 Thanks to Dive God Terry Nichols, for organising a great fun quiz evening in support of Project Aware. Oonas guests and staff were kept entertained with imaginatively named rounds such as "So You Think You're a Dive Guide" and "Let's Get Wrecked". In all, 750 Egyptian pounds were raised for Project Aware and the winners Jeanne, Catherine and Al, all received Oonas T-shirts. Thank you to everyone who took part!
